Bergamot Massage & Bodyworks is a locally owned Madison, Wisconsin spa and boutique designed to feel warm, quiet, and restorative. This project involved a full new‑construction interior build‑out that includes six private massage treatment rooms, a meditation lounge, a Finnish sauna with a custom cold shower, a centrally located lounge serving both the men’s and women’s locker and changing areas, and a curated retail space offering wellness‑focused gifts.

Inspired by a modern French Country aesthetic, the space blends natural materials and layered textures to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Wood and stone elements, wood‑look luxury vinyl plank flooring with cork backing for sound absorption, and thoughtfully selected modern light fixtures enhance both comfort and acoustics. Texture is carried throughout the space through a cement tile branding wall at the reception desk, custom wood built‑ins, natural stone, antiqued mirrors, and soft upholstery. A‑Y worked closely with the owners from concept through completion to bring their vision for a serene and immersive spa experience to life.
