Skelly’s Farmers Market

Skelly’s Farm Market has been a Southern Wisconsin institution since 1918, and the 2023 addition makes sure it stays that way. Angus-Young designed a 6,336-square-foot expansion to the existing market, which is housed in a 1930s dairy barn that was converted to its current use in 2006. The addition brought a larger, purpose-built bakery, expanded retail floor space, additional restrooms, and more storage, giving the growing operation the room it needed without losing the character that makes Skelly’s what it is.
The farm spans over 100 acres of hand-picked produce and draws families through three seasons, from strawberries in early summer to sweet corn to a fall pumpkin harvest and corn maze. The addition was designed to support that growth while respecting the history and feel of a place that’s been welcoming neighbors for nearly four decades.
