At the heart of downtown Delavan, Tower Park serves as a gathering place, landmark, and point of civic pride. Angus‑Young partnered with the Town of Delavan to reimagine this keystone public space, modernizing the park while honoring its historic character. Working closely with R.H. Batterman, the A‑Y team led the park redesign effort and facilitated community open house meetings to ensure the vision reflected both local identity and long‑term town goals.

The design integrates existing and new park features to create a unified and inviting experience. Iconic elements such as the circus giraffe and elephant statues are more fully woven into the park fabric, while the historic water tower remains a central focal point with the addition of a pinwheel canvas shade feature at its base. New amenities including a water feature, pergolas, expanded walkways, and flexible seating areas enhance everyday use and support special events without blocking views through the park. The result is a refreshed public space that prioritizes visitor experience, clarity of movement, and ease of maintenance for the town.
