What was once an underutilized parcel of land is now a vibrant outdoor extension of The Gathering Place, purpose‑built for connection, celebration, and community life in Milton, Wisconsin. Angus‑Young partnered with The Gathering Place to develop the two‑acre site adjacent to the existing Senior Activity Center, expanding programming to support outdoor events such as music nights, social gatherings, weddings, and community celebrations.

The site design is organized along a clear axis, anchored by the existing gazebo on one end and a new bandshell with restrooms on the other. Easy access from the main building, surrounding neighborhoods, and a new parking area creates a welcoming and intuitive experience. A trellis entry serves as both a gateway and the centerpiece of a donor recognition wall, while a centrally located wind‑powered kinetic sculpture adds movement, visual interest, and inspiration. Together, the layout, structures, and public art open The Gathering Place to new opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and shared experiences.
