Healthnet of Janesville

This renovation transforms an existing 12,517 square foot building into a new clinic for HealthNet of Rock County, expanding access to essential healthcare services for underserved residents. Angus‑Young partnered with HealthNet to create a functional, welcoming environment that supports primary care, dental services, and health education in a dignified and accessible setting.

The updated facility includes a dental lab, pharmacy, and administrative offices, all designed to support efficient operations and patient comfort. Site improvements included a new main entrance and an ADA‑compliant side entrance ramp to ensure safe and inclusive access. The result is a modernized clinic that strengthens HealthNet’s mission to provide free or low‑cost healthcare while better serving the needs of the Rock County community.

Cedar Crest wanted to expand their senior living campus in Janesville with a new Community Based Residential Facility, adding an assisted living option to round out their continuum of care. The 87,000-square-foot building houses 76 studio and one-bedroom units, developed in partnership with national architecture firm SFCS. Angus-Young served as interior designer, handling finish selections, artwork, and furniture throughout the facility.

The interior was designed to feel like home from the moment residents arrive. A striking main entry sets the tone, and the design elements throughout draw on familiar patterns and warm details that bring comfort to everyday life. The result balances the quality the owner envisioned with the welcoming atmosphere residents deserve.
