BTC Public Safety Building

Blackhawk Technical College’s Public Safety Education Building gives students training in a facility purpose-built for the work. The 74,695-square-foot building houses a 12-lane indoor shooting range, DAAT training room, EMS lab and apparatus bay, classrooms, an indoor track, administrative suite, and locker room facilities. Every space was designed around the specific demands of public safety education, from range support spaces to the site development that accommodates emergency apparatus access on multiple sides of the building.
The project was designed and built to LEED Silver certification standards, reflecting BTC’s commitment to responsible, long-term investment in their campus. Full architectural, interior, landscape, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and LEED project management services were provided.
