A small addition can make a big difference in how a building works and how people feel when they walk in. Stateline Mental Health’s 306-square-foot addition connects two existing structures on East Grand Avenue, creating a unified front entry that improves the arrival experience for clients coming in for care. The new entry vestibule, reception area, lobby, waiting area, and three offices gave the facility a more organized and welcoming front-of-house sequence, while improved sightlines from the reception desk enhanced safety and visibility for staff.

Interior updates in select corridors carried the same intent, refreshing finishes to create a more supportive environment throughout the 6,072-square-foot facility. For a mental health services provider, the feel of a space matters as much as its function, and the design kept both in mind.
