Lakeside Park Pavilion

Angus-Young developed concept and schematic design for a new pavilion at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, envisioned as a public gathering space taking full advantage of its setting on Lake Winnebago. The design seated up to 200 people across multiple rooms with outdoor access, a designated patio, and covered public restrooms. A primary seating and exhibit area featured local art, history, and nature displays connecting visitors to the city and its surroundings, with storage for event and recreational equipment also incorporated into the program.
The concept balanced civic function with a character suited to a lakeside destination, using natural materials and thoughtful site integration to keep the pavilion grounded in its landscape.
