City of Stoughton Department of Public Works

The City of Stoughton’s new public works facility on County Highway A gives the city’s operations team a 58,200-square-foot building designed for the full scope of municipal DPW work. Administrative offices, employee welfare areas, departmental shops, vehicle maintenance bays, and cold storage are all accommodated under one roof. A salt shed, brine storage facility, and transfer station were also designed and constructed on the property, rounding out a site built to handle Stoughton’s year-round public works demands.
The project was completed in summer 2020 in partnership with Vierbicher, with Angus-Young providing full architectural, interior, landscaping, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
