Phase 1 of the gravure satellite project included development of 26 acres of land, a 170,000 Sq Ft building, two 10-station gravure presses, ink blending, cylinder storage, and finishing equipment. Portions of the building had to satisfy Class 1, Division 2 criteria due to the storage and blending of large quantities of printing ink. The building construction consisted of steel beams and columns with steel roof joists and roof deck, exterior insulated precast concrete wall panels, and insulated metal wall panels. The project was fast track construction and completed in 6 months.
