Rotary Gardens Comfort Station

Rotary Botanical Gardens needed a comfort station that could serve visitors without feeling out of place in the landscape. The result is a whimsical, hobbit-like structure covered with stone that tucks naturally into the hillside. A circular window, arched entry, and lookout tower give the 900-square-foot building a storybook character that makes it a destination in its own right. The tower offers an elevated view of the gardens and a natural spot for photos.
The design also accommodates all guests, including those who need caregiver assistance. A decorative circular window doubles as a vending station, offering seasonal refreshments without the walk back to the main building. Full architectural, interior, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services were provided. The structure doesn’t just sit in the landscape – it feels like part of it.
