Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer

Angus-Young is a leading architectural, engineering and interior design firm with an excellent opportunity for a talented, ambitious mechanical (HVAC) engineer with good people skills to join the Janesville or Madison office.

The essential responsibilities of this position include determining client’s HVAC needs, development of system concepts, design calculations, equipment selection and specification, cost analysis, and collaboration with the design team.  The position offers excellent professional development/advancement opportunities. Qualifications include BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (HVAC emphasis), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and good written and verbal communication skills. 3-5 years of HVAC design experience required, EIT preferred.  Compensation includes wage commensurate with education, experience and abilities and excellent benefits package.

Civil Engineer

Angus-Young is a leading architectural, engineering and interior design firm with an excellent opportunity for a talented, ambitious civil engineer with good people skills to join the Janesville or Madison office. Applicants for the Madison office require 10 years of experience.

The essential responsibilities of this position include development of design concepts, site utility design, stormwater and erosion control design, calculations and reports, producing effective and high quality drawings and specifications, and supporting projects throughout construction as they progress. Due to the collaborative nature of our projects, communication and teamwork skills are essential; initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision are integral to success. Minimum requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering and experience designing utilities and grading with either AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/InRoads. EIT certification preferred.
