Commons Upgrades and Renovation
The new Commons space, now dubbed, “The Knight Spot,” was designed with the students as a primary focus.

The space is used by students who have shown that they can maintain a 3.0 GPA and good attendance record. The renovation included new finishes for all interior surfaces and incorporated acoustics and Audio/Video technology into the design. The existing cafeteria and adjacent satellite kitchen were also renovated to coincide with the new commons renovations. The backbone of the design included a fully integrated sound and video system for conferences, presenting, gaming, or watching movies.
