Building Information Modeling is an integrated process designed to generate and manage building data from design through construction.This process can also be used in building life cycle, maintenance, operations and cost analysis.The BIM process utilizes 3D software for increased project coordination and communication with multiple trades in order to provide a better end-product for the user.
